Dear Michigan,
This is Katie. I grew up in you, and I've taken you for granted. I left you behind and wandered around the globe and I'm sorry I never appreciated you like I should.
In the wake of South Korea's rejection, I have decided to take this opportunity to get to know you better. We've gotten closer over the years, yes, but I think it's time for some serious bonding.
Here, I will document my Michigan adventures. I will discover new places but I will rediscover all the old, too.
The more I have traveled and left you, the more I've come to realize how special you are.
I'm sorry it took me so long.
